Hello World!
So no real IT adventure starts off without the first "Hello World". My first VBScript, .Net app, etc. all started with the "Hello World" and this blog is no different. This is just my first post in what will be my thoughts in the end user computing space.
Just like many of the apps I wrote, this blog is about functionality, not being pretty. I may clean it up or move it in the future but for now I just want to get my thoughts out to the world.

I first want to thank Anthony DiDonato for inspiring me to write my first blog posts for Critical Design Associates. https://criticaldesign.net/news.html
When Anthony first asked me to write these posts I was like "awe man, I hate writing" but as I wrote them I realized it was just me talking about things I was passionate about so it was actually a lot of fun and I really enjoyed them.
I also want to thank some of the guys I looked up to when I first joined AppSense. When I first met Guy Leech during my induction at AppSense I was amazed at his knowledge. For those that don't know Guy wrote the first bits of code that became AppSense. origins-appsense-guy-leech
While in the UK I also met Shaun Jones and Matt Murphy. These guys were rock stars and I wanted to be as good as them or better. I had my work cutout for me. It was a sad day when the last of these guys left AppSense.
Wendy Jolley was my AppSense SE before I joined AppSense. Wendy really looked after me and my best interest while I was really "starting" my career. If it wasn't for her we probably wouldn't have the "Landon Config" and EM 10.x would still probably be using FBR files.
I know I'm leaving a ton of people off this list but know that if we have worked together in the past that you have helped me in one way or another. The past year has had many ups and downs. As I now hang up my AppSense hat and move on to another chapter of my career I look back at all the great times and people I have had the honor of working with and at all the great opportunity ahead.
You can catch me at the Ivanti Interchange event in a couple months where I'll present on "AppSense" best practices. I think I'm one of the few if not the only non-Ivanti employee presenting. As always you can also find me at any time on the Ivanti forums if you have any AppSense related questions.
